Uterine tumors also can be call fibroids which is the muscular tumors that grow in the wall of the uterus (womb). This type of disease also can be present inside the uterus, on its outer surface or within its wall or attached to it by a stem-like structure. It can be as small as grape seed or as big as a grapefruit. Usually, when compilation occurs the tumors that are attached to the uterus by a stem may twist and cause pain, nausea or fever. A very large of tumors may cause swelling of the abdomen.
Nowadays, they are often tending to occur at younger age and present with greater number and size in women of Asian, African and Hispanic.

Uterine tumors occurs when a single uterine muscle cell spontaneously begin to reproduce itself over and over again until it creates a firm mass of tissue. Furthermore, the specific cause of uterine tumors is not clear because a number of factors may increase a woman’s risk of developing them.

In term of eating habits, it will easier to woman to get the uterine tumors if her not controlled to eat meat. It is because most of the previous case is because they are eat red meat such as lamb, pork, veal and beef to much that will increases bowel tumor risk. The best way to prevent tumor development is eating plenty of green vegetables.
- Ethnic origin
Most women are likely to get the uterine tumors is African-American compared to white women.
Usually, women who are overweight are at higher risk for uterine tumor disease. For very heavy woman, the risk is two to three times greater than average.
- Family History
The women that having a family member with uterine tumor increases the possible to get it. If a woman’s mother had uterine tumor , her risk of having them is about three times higher than average.

Most of the women who get the uterine tumors don’t cause a symptom. Only certain women were get symptom which depending on size, location and number of tumor, they may cause:
- Pain during sexual intercourse
- Pain in the back and legs
- Pelvic pain and pressure
- Heavy, prolonged menstrual periods and unusual monthly bleeding, sometimes with clots; this can lead to anemia
- Pressure on the bowel, leading to constipation and bloating
- Abnormally enlarged abdomen
- Bladder pressure leading to a frequent urge to urinate
